Naming this article was not difficult as like many things today, the title and subtitle were already out-there in plain sight. Consider this - Freedom of speech or reach has always been, but it has become more apparent and more achievable, due to the rapid emergence of internet technology.

Artists, creators and celebrities of all walks and genres have fallen prey to the orchestrated rumour-mill for centuries, so it is not just a recent thing but an age-old trick to suppress those that would not toe-the-line.

The unwanted; those considered unworthy; those who chose or choose not to follow the path laid, have been always hampered by systemic structures designed to oppress and enslave. Even if that enslavement manifests as silencing as opposed to incarceration! Those believing themselves to be above all others have always used governance to control what the masses hear and see. The idiom 'What You Don't Know Can't Hurt You' is one such purposely misleading system-paths' which speaks for itself when examined today.
